Mark Utley
Business Representative
Mark started his career as a technician with the Gary Public Transportation Corporation in 1979. He worked his way up to the working foreman position while being a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union. He was instrumental in organizing 701 in at Jimmy Diesel in 2002, where he worked in the trade as a Journeyman Technician since 1988. Mark served as a shop steward there and helped with the negotiations of the past 2 contracts. He was appointed as a Business Representative in October 2008.
