Job Summary:

Body Shop Apprentice required to assist journeyman painter in preparing panels and small parts for painting. Learn and master all painting techniques over the apprenticeship period.

Job Duties:

Duties may include but are not limited to following:

-Following the direction of the journeyman painter in processing work through the paint shop

-Moving, driving and parking vehicles in and out of the shop

-Masking, sanding and priming in preparation for paint

-Cleaning and detailing after painting is complete

-Keeping the work space neat and orderly

Requirements:

-Trade school or experience in the field

-Possess tools necessary to perform the work

-Physical ability to lift, kneel, squat and bend while working

-Communicate and work with fellow employees
